I've been excited for years that there would finally be a Manta Manta 2. I knew they were working on it but couldn't come up with the right script. Seen it again and again as a fan of part 1. Is the 2nd part a mockery? What it all revolves around is that the Yellow MANTA only comes up for bid towards the end. The film isn't really about anything. It is a poor copy of part 1. It may be said that Schweiger is a serious alcoholic and a chain smoker. This had quite an influence on the set. Someone who pays close attention could have seen many times that Bertie was acting tipsy. Nevertheless, I wonder WHY?? Would have left it at part 1 if you couldn't come up with anything better. It is a Manta and the subject is a Calibra. How do you come up with that. 1 star for the original manta ray that came into view.
