Zhila-Byla Devochka plot

The film describes the daily life of two children, nine-year-old Nastenka and five-year-old Katia. During the 17-month siege of Leningrad they have to survive. All this in the midst of families destroyed by the war, houses bombed, and life in constant anticipation of the advancing German army.
