"He's pretty sure he's ready for this"
Despite living in a neighborhood where fighting is woven into everyday life, 17-year-old high school student Miguel has never experienced one. And to be fair, he's fine with that too. But when a combination of events turns his life upside down, Miguel and his three best friends - the stoic David, the rugged Cass and the sharp Srini - are thrown into a series of adventures as he tries to find his very first fight.

The direction by Osmany Rodriguez runs smoothly and the event seems to fully realize that it has little to say in terms of content, so the running time of only 75 minutes is ideally chosen. The pity is that the acting is not particularly strong, lead actor Tyler Dean Flores in particular lacks charisma. As a result, the relationship development is not particularly strong, which is what a significant part of the second half revolves around. On the other hand, there is relatively colorful editing and a fast pace, with Rodriguez doing all sorts of things to keep things entertaining. The film is already passable for that alone, but other than that it has little special to offer. It's all easy entertainment that's quickly forgotten.
