Kokan Uso Nikki plot

High school student Nozomi Kuroda finds a note in the desk of a classroom one day. The note only has the word "nice" written on it. The person who wrote that is Jun Setoyama. He is the most popular boy in school. Nozomi feels embarrassed, but she ends up leaving an answer in a school shoe locker. Thus begins their secret exchange diary. However, Nozomi soon finds out that the recipient of the first letter was her best friend. Despite this, Nozomi is attracted to Jun, who expresses his thoughts and feelings differently than she does. She cannot tell him the truth that she is the one exchanging the messages and not her best friend.

As far as I can tell, Japan produces films about high school and college students. Most films don't mean much, but they often have a funny story. This also applies to this film about a teenage boy's romance, which has a false start. It's not top cinema, but I still enjoyed it. Nice.
