Il Muto di Gallura plot
In mid-19th century Gallura, the feud between the Vasa and Mamia families causes bloodshed. Bastiano Tansu, a deaf mute from birth, joins Pietro Vasa and becomes a feared assassin after murdering his brother. The State and the Church try to stop terrorism, which eventually leads to the peace of Aggius after more than 70 deaths. Bastiano finds love, but faces prejudice in a superstitious world. He decides to face his own fate.
