In a poor remote area in northwestern Tunisia, two young shepherds are walking around. They are brutally attacked by terrorists. One of the guys gets out of the situation alive for a reason. He has to pass on a message to the family.

Fourteen-year-old Achraf [Ali Helali] follows his cousin Nizar [Yassine Samouni] into a mountainous area that has been declared off-limits due to the presence of mines and terrorists. Their visit to this beautiful area takes a horrific turn when terrorists behead Nizar and leave Achraf unconscious to convey the message that intruders are not welcome here. Upon returning, Achraf must answer to Nizar's family, who are considering retrieving Nazir's body. Beautiful performances from the young cast (including Wided Dadebi as his peer Rahma) and beautifully filmed, poetic dream sequences in a compelling reconstruction of a true incident.
