La Costa Dorada plot

Erika is 26 and faces a big dilemma: to stay in Madrid, where one of the biggest demonstrations of the Indignados is coming up, or to sing for the tourists on the Costa Dorada, her very first job contract. She has to choose the second and is thus confronted even harder with the crisis in Spain.

As far as I know, this is an animated short film about the Spanish economic crisis about 10-15 years ago, in which indignant people took to the streets with their May 15 demonstration in Madrid, among others. The consequences elsewhere - in the tourism sector - were palpable, here experienced personally by Erika who found herself in an abandoned tourist resort. Perhaps a bit caricatured, it looked like an apocalypse where the world suddenly stopped turning.

I'm not crazy about the drawing style and all in all I found the plot to be rather vague. The message does not get across well enough, especially as an outsider.
