Mami Wata plot
"A West Afrikan Folktale"
In the village of Iyi, the deity Mami Wata is worshiped. The villagers turn to the healer Mama Efe, who serves as an intermediary between them and the deity, her daughter Zinwe and his protege Prisca. When the local children die and disappear, resident Jabi sows doubt. When the rebellious Jasper shows up, the division is complete. The village comes under new rule, but Prisca and Zinwe want to save both their tribe and Mami Wata's honor.
