Zabuti plot
Russian has been the official language in the area since separatists occupied Luhansk province in eastern Ukraine. In connection with this, language teacher Nina has to take a refresher course in Russian. During one of her lessons, she witnesses a student flying a Ukrainian flag from one of the school buildings. The student is arrested and taken away. Nina tries to find out what happened to him…

Gloomy film about life in the Donbas after Russian separatists rule there. Some residents let the developments come over them passively. Others are members of the underground resistance with all the dangers that entails. In this context, a Ukrainian teacher is emotionally carried away by a young resistance fighter. Although the film is current, it did not quite live up to my expectations.
