A group of friends return to their parental village to experience the summer season with Sid. Sid is obsessed with astronomy and assigns each of his friends to find an item that connects life to a specific theme and location. The items will then be burned in some kind of ritual.

Just before the time comes, Sid meets Lily [Mia McKenna-Bruce], whom he tells nothing about his illness. His absence creates tension between Sid and his friends in this well-acted drama with beautiful camera work by David Wright that unfortunately becomes far too sentimental, especially in the last quarter.
