On a beautiful carefree day, a young man drives his car towards the sea with his partner. At the same time, one family has run out of sugar and the son is sent out by his mother to get some sugar. The child takes his familiar route, but this will lead to a tragic encounter with the young couple in the car. Based on a short story by writer Stig Dagerman.

Thanks for the link. The image quality is indeed poor. I also included the original version that is on Netflix. The similarities are of course great, although this remake appealed less to me. It got under my skin a little less, the story voice perhaps, the colors... I was a fan of the restored black and white version. It remains impressive that combination between what is about to happen, the two worlds that are then supported by that cold business voice-over. I remember at school that we also had to work with the camera and shoot a mini film. Well, I would love to recreate this one. Strong as a whole, also emotionally.
