Rae Parker is a writer for Icon, a magazine for the modern woman. Her column, Reservation for One, is about adventure travel for the single. In her work, which is her life, she travels, single, around the world on solo adventures. She receives an assignment to travel to the Maldives and learns of a legendary shipwreck. Nice dreaming about the kind of vacation I'll never take - I'd be bored out of my mind within an hour. But it is very nice to look at pictures, that's for sure.
The story doesn't make any sense, of course, and a bouquet series is an added literary surprise. But that is also part of the genre.
