Rabia plot

Nineteen-year-old Frenchwoman Rabia moves to a war zone where she ends up in a house with other women from all over the world. To stay alive, she becomes an assistant to the mistress who becomes fascinated with Rabia. They maintain a master-slave relationship that pushes the young woman to the limit. However, there comes a time when Rabia no longer recognizes herself and can no longer deal with it.

Little known film it turns out. Quite rightly so, not a top film, but this film deserves a wider audience. Reminded me a bit of Rebel (Film, 2022) by the duo El Arbi and Fallah. Not the same style and also less flashy, but an interesting look at IS and what happens on the margins deep within the stronghold.

IS brides and their motivations. Even Western women were seduced (or misled) into going to Syria. Do they serve as nothing more than breeding machines to supply the regime with new fighters?

A film about how some women are indoctrinated (from the beginning) and how some doubt. Interesting to watch!
