Mary O'Hara is a sharp-witted and mischievous 12-year-old schoolgirl from Dublin who bravely faces the fact that her beloved grandmother is dying. But grandma can't let go of life, and when a mysterious young woman shows up on Mary's street with a message for her grandma, Mary is caught up in an unlikely adventure.
