The Inventor plot

Pope Leo But Da Vinci prefers to deal with many big issues. His assistant Francesco Melzo [Angelino Sandri] does his best to prevent Da Vinci from forgetting his task. And he gets help from Princess Marguerite de Navarre [Daisy Ridley], who finally sees an opportunity to do something with her intelligence. Ambitious animated film with excellent animation, but an abundance of weighty themes and high-sounding language make it inaccessible to children. The approach to those themes is a bit too simplistic to appeal to adults. The voice performances are variable and those sung mantras... I didn't need them.
