Gringa plot

Teenage girl Marge is unpopular, unlucky and struggling at school. Her life is turned upside down when her beloved mother dies in a tragic accident. With nowhere to go but her ultra-conservative grandparents, Marge sets out to find her estranged father, Jackson. He is a former soccer star who lives in rural Mexico and is the coach of the local women's team. Neither of them is ready for such a big change, but the best chance they have of solving their past and moving on is together.

A friendly good-feeling film about a teenager who is reunited with her rather flamboyant father in a Mexican town after the sudden death of her mother. I'm not a fan of Steve Zahn, but he does a great job in this movie. Nice.
