La Vie pour de Vrai plot

Tridan Lagache has spent his whole life in Club Med and changes friends every eight days. At the age of 50, he resigns from the Mexican holiday club where he was born, determined to find his great childhood sweetheart Violette after 42 years. He arrives in Paris, naive and lost, but happy to be staying with Louis, a half-brother he never knew existed. To get rid of Tridan, Louis begs one of his conquests, Roxane, to pose as Violette, whom Tridan thinks he recognizes at first sight.
