Zeevonk plot
The sailor and skater Lena loses her father, a fisherman who dies at sea with two others. Rumors are circulating that her father is the cause of the accident. However, Lena believes a mysterious sea creature is the culprit. She goes to great lengths to prove the existence of the beast and her father's innocence.

Very nice (West) Flemish film!!!
Positively surprised by this movie.
Domien Huyghe's directing debut, certainly a success.
A film made with a clear meaning & a lot of feeling.
Saar Rogiers (14 years old) who plays Lena in the film, did a fantastic job!! (her acting debut).
Goosebumps, a smile & a tear at this movie!
A deserved 3.5 stars (close to 4).

A family film about young Lena who loses her father and deals with it in her own way. Domien Huyghe makes his debut with this. Unfortunately, the film does not immediately convince a large audience, but after a viewing it is better than expected. Beautiful images and a touching story. For the ending is so emotional and beautifully done.
