Fine.

Nice to see that Kumakiri is moving more in a genre direction again. He has the talent for it, the chill is still in his work, but the drama simply makes way for genre fun. And he also adds a nice layer of criticism, without becoming too whiny.

The design of the film is very simple. Man gets stuck in a well, can't reach anyone (but his phone still works), and then looks for help on a popular social network. It doesn't take too long before he goes viral, but not everyone is equally concerned about his situation.

Fine acting, visually neat, sleek sound design and not too much filler. There is also a bit of black humor, which makes it clear that it should not be taken too seriously. I had a good time with this film, Kumakiri is an underrated director. But I've been saying that for some time.

4.0* and a extensive review
