Nerdy Pat Johnson grows up in rural Illinois. He starts making movies in his backyard after watching '2001: A Space Odyssey' in 1968. His passion for movie making grows even more when he is one of the first people to see 'Star Wars' in 1977 .

A preview of this film was shown at "Star Wars Celebration IV" in Los Angeles. Appropriately, it was shown on 5/25/2007. This was the 30th anniversary of the premiere of Star Wars. After ten years of extra work on the film, the almost final version was shown in 32 theaters on 5/25/2017. This during the 40th anniversary of the film. The completed film for a worldwide release was released in late summer last year. Writer and director Patrick Read Johnson was actually the first person to see an incomplete preview of Star Wars. This film by Johnson is an autobiographical narrative, and takes a closer look at this event. The entire recording process took 13 years to complete. This with primary photography from 2004 to 2006, and the last additional photography in 2015 and 2016. Part of the filming took place at Waukegan High School in Waukegan, Illinois.
Definitely recommended for fans of Star Wars and director Patrick Read Johnson.
