In the Spanish city of Valencia, three couples of different ages experience love in a different way. For example, the young student Lucia falls for Alex after a motorcycle accident. They make nervous steps in a committed relationship. After three years of marriage, adult Paz and Jorge experience an emotional crisis. Both notice that they are growing further and further apart. Irene and Albert, both retired, meet again after many years at the funeral of a mutual friend. Previously they were lovers and it seemed that they would never see each other again.
