Older woman falls for younger man, and vice versa. After a night out, they end up in bed and sparks fly from the screen. That is of course not new. I know countless examples. In this case it concerns a cooperating fisherwoman in her forties and a young intern. That fishing environment gives an extra plus to look at. But of course it is mainly Cécile de France that we are watching, because what she has in terms of acting is fantastic. Also to literally expose oneself. She basically carries the entire film.

But this film also has its limitations. We get little insight into what exactly goes on in the minds of the protagonists. It was also not clear to me why the woman's husband suddenly disappeared from the picture. And then suddenly it's three months later and we're only told in passing what happened during that time. Of course a crisis arises, because such a relationship always ends with a crisis. But director Héloïse Pelloquet, for whom this is the first full-length film, opts for a light-hearted ending. Also refreshing at times.
