Joan's Theme plot

With an apparently innate optimism, 23-year-old Joan plays her saxophone. When she is instructed to play by feel during the audition rounds for an important jazz course, she is confronted with negative feelings that she previously suppressed. Joan makes a frantic effort to resist these feelings and find happiness again. Can she let go of control and find beauty in the sides she would rather not see in herself?

The last short film I watched from a series that appeared on NOS. I like to see short films. Often witty and they bring a clear message. It's something I've missed in almost all these short films. Fairly mediocre with a negative peak for this production. You don't do me any favors with jazz anyway, and Joan's annoying behavior didn't help either. No idea where the film was headed, but the execution was dull and pointless. Unfortunately.
