Walk Up plot
Byungsoo, a film director, goes with his daughter Jeongsu, an aspiring interior designer, to a property owned by an old friend who is already established in the field of design. She gives them a tour of the property, which includes a restaurant and cooking studio on the first two floors, her office in the basement, a residence on the third floor and an artist's studio on the top floor. The three chat and drink together until a phone call calls Byungsoo away. When he returns, it's the same place, but at a different time, and the owner of the building invites him to go to the second floor.

Good movie. Not suitable for a large audience due to the focus on dialogue and the slowness, but it's a wonderfully resonant and reflective trip in a quintessentially South Korean style (and a hint of Rohmer). Not too long either, which definitely helps. It makes you reflect on the possibility of knowing the other person and their intentions, the impact of big choices in life, and more of that. A nice snack when you are in a good mood and can concentrate enough.
