Stalker Paul [Ray Nicholson] lands in prison after stabbing Bell [Eric Dane], pop star Sofia's [Samara Weaving] bodyguard. Six months later, Paul escapes prison and, with the help of his visually impaired brother [Patrick Cox] and a friend [Yasmeen Kelder] even more deranged than himself, tries to force Sofia to marry him. In the attempt, he once again finds himself dealing with Bell, who has just recovered from his injuries, and star basketball player Rhodes [Jimmie Fails], Sofia's current boyfriend. This deliciously dark comedy avoids the beaten track and is equal parts disturbing and hilarious. Warden himself writes a powerful script, and Nicholson shines as the unforgettable stalker. Stick around for the long, uninterrupted shot of Nicholson at the opening credits. The title, by the way, does not refer to the mental syndrome, but to the 80s hit by Madonna (heard here in the version by The Flaming Lip & Stardeath And White Dwarfs), the lyrics of which are quite applicable.
