Quite short and narratively very limited to make a good judgment about. The synopsis says what the entire (short) film is about. Nothing more and nothing less. If you remember that the event is depicted with (marionette) puppets, then we are there.

The lighting is good and the sound is subdued. But actually we are watching a puppet show/theater piece. There isn't much cinematic about it.

Morbid puppet theater, without words and not suitable for children.

I can only guess at the meaning of the story, as well as at the high rating on IMDB.

Maybe the music could appeal.
