Pleasantly surprised by this Indian film, which I always confused as a location with something from Iran or something like that. So Indian and for once no film about castes, poverty or exploitation. A film about a boy who wants to score better marks at school, but fails every time, partly due to the disrespectful pressure of his father.
Using voodoo scenes, the young guy can get through to his classmate, but soon regrets the consequences that this has on his classmate. Tamaash is a film about friendship, jealousy, revenge and guilt.
Very nice to have seen. Nice acting and nice story. Ideal for when you have half an hour to spare. Nicely finished too, didn't necessarily have to take longer.
