Laal Singh Chaddha plot
"Who knows, are we part of a story, or does a story lie within each of us?"
Laal Singh Chaddha is a low IQ man. He travels in a train and tells his story to his fellow passenger with the current events in India as background. He was born during the Indo Pak war where his grandfather was a martyr, which is why he is named after him. With a low IQ level, no school wants to admit him, but in the end a priest from the Catholic school does, and sees the fighting spirit in his mother. The school children try to avoid him, but he befriends his classmate Roopa D'souza and develops a close relationship with her. Eventually he will experience love, warmth and happiness.
