Medusa Deluxe plot
The hairdressing world is shocked when a colleague is found murdered. The victim, like her colleagues, took part in a hairdressing competition. The film is or appears to have been shot in one take, which gives the film 'speed' and a hectic feeling, but unfortunately all the bustle and tension that is created has little substance: it is mainly a series of gossip and bickering that just doesn't want to become interesting. . The murder mystery also doesn't get off the ground: as a viewer you have no idea or interest in who the killer is and the film offers no surprise or climax in that respect. In short, the film has an attractive form but virtually no substance.
