Here they had an opportunity to do something very original and interesting with a premise like this (women are in danger of being replaced by robots and and what does such a thing do to society and gender relations).
Instead we get yet another variant on the myth of the concept of women's oppression, not for nothing are all the robots in this film women and apparently all the men who bought them
not the best people.
The scene at the end of the film (in which all robots together make some kind of statement) should once again emphasize the oppression of women, but of course it makes no sense
Meyers ' character doesn't make much sense either, his motives are far-fetched and in the context of technology he had many other legal options.
The actress who plays Meredith plays her role (especially in the beginning) very well, the robotic is extremely credible, but with that she is also immediately portrayed as a stupid meek sheep according to the plot.
If we had used male robots intended for women would we have seen the same plot? no, I do not think so .
Conclusion
Something that has been promoted in women for decades (the ability to freely express your sexuality) is something that society will never allow men (Tiger woods and Leonardo di caprio are good examples of this).
Unfortunately, the film cannot detach itself from contemporary feminist dogmas and then you automatically get a film with the same plot and storyline for the umpteenth time, but once in a light sf jacket but also poorly executed.

Rhys Meyers does one movie after another, but quality doesn't really seem to be a criterion. In any case, this one is a very negative example of that, with an absurdly bad narrative about fembots pursuing a new matriarchy. I believe that is an obscure genre on the dark internet somewhere, but it just doesn't come as a serious story. From no sides. You would almost think that all female roles are indeed played by robots. Almost no motivation even remotely comes across as human, robotically logical, or credible - although I must say I also have some of those vague acquaintances in the more militant-feminist corner who probably see more of this. . Tiresome types who want to immediately replace all problems with patriarchy with a much worse matriarchy. Good luck, they won't get my vote, however surprising that may be.

But back to the subject - this film sucks. Skip it, you can do what you want with my heartfelt advice, but I just wanted to say it anyway.

This mix of science fiction, thriller and eroticism is captivating, but fails to create a certain mysterious atmosphere and tension. The reason is mainly due to the story, which is difficult to follow due to the structure and technological aspects.

The dream sequences also play a role in this. The punchline of the story is surprising and ultimately easy to follow, but this film does not really appeal. Elena Kampouris plays her role very convincingly. 5/10
