"People change. Assassins don't."
Ashley and her daughter Sarah become involved in a criminal enterprise that puts their lives on the line. She moves to the Cayman Islands where she turns to her father Matt. He currently lives there and father and daughter have been estranged for some time. They are hunted by the mob boss Donnie and his right-hand man Bobo. Meanwhile, Ashley learns more about her father's mysterious past.

Not too good, it's just a B movie, but with Nicolas Cage you know what to expect. A simple story and not the best acting. But if, like Cage, you don't take it too seriously, it's not too bad. A popcorn movie with plenty of action, some funny scenes here and there and a funny role by Ron Perlman.

In the vague prologue, Jimmy [Jordan Johnson-Hinds] and Ashley [Ashley Greene] narrowly escape from the clutches of Donnie's [Jackie Earle Haley] henchmen after stealing a drive - for a yet unnamed client. After they bury the body of accomplice Mitch, Ashley puts her daughter Sarah [Thalia Campbell] on a plane to the Cayman Islands with the address of Sarah's grandfather [Nicolas Cage] and hides the drive in Sarah's backpack. Ron Perlman is among the men who have to regain the drive on Donnie's behalf. Low-budget thriller with colorful roles for Cage and Perlman and a few nice stunts, but also with an excess of characters and a needlessly complicated plot.
