L'Agnello plot
Sixteen-year-old Anita is in a difficult family situation. Her mother died of leukemia and now her father, Jacopo, is also seriously ill. No treatment produces significant results, making the need for a bone marrow transplant increasingly urgent. The average waiting time for a donor is several months. That is why Anita decides to visit her uncle, a suitable donor. But the brothers haven't spoken to each other in years.
