Love in the Villa plot
Julie is the ultimate planner. Everything is laminated, organized and everything goes on a schedule. However, her plans for a romantic vacation in Verona, Italy fall through when her boyfriend breaks up with the trip. Arriving in Verona, Julie learns that the villa she reserved is double booked. She will have to share her vacation with Charlie, a cynical but also handsome Brit. Although they initially do their best to make each other's life miserable so that the other leaves, they begin to have feelings for each other.

Very rarely give a 5*, but for me this is the perfect romcom in its genre. I've seen many rom-coms and some are better than others, but this one is really great. I had to laugh a lot at the comedic moments. Humor really worked. And then the romance: equally successful. I was able to shed a tear at the end, so that says enough. Never before have I seen a rom-com that captivated me so much and with actors completely unknown to me. I have been to Verona myself once and recognized the locations. Maybe this is one reason why I'm so impressed. Anyway, for me in the rom-com genre, this one is great. You have to be romantic to enjoy such a film.
