Because Vinegar is going to release this as a VSU Edition, I gave it a shot on YouTube, where it's available in its entirety and relatively good quality. Exactly what I thought: a cheap ripoff of ET. I'm also guessing the director's brother had stock in McDonald's and Coca-Cola; that subliminal advertising was really great, culminating in that whole dance scene with Ronald McDonald in the McDonald's. They thought, let's just call the alien that too.

Story: A sort of molten ET in a rubber suit who spends the entire movie whistling at a little boy in a wheelchair… potentially entertaining for the very little ones.

The only positive is Alan Silvestri's score, which sounded quite good at times. How they managed to get him for this monstrosity… God only knows.

Sorry Vinegar, but those €45 are still in their pockets. If they continue this trend, they'll drive away all the customers.
