Poulets Grillés plot

Anne Capestan, a fallen star in the Lyon Police Department, is put in charge of the mysterious '4th Brigade': a unit that houses all the alcoholics, depressives and other irregulars. Nevertheless, with this team she will succeed in bringing the most important research that is currently underway to a successful conclusion.

It's good for morale.... This French crime comedy follows the well-known French humor style. Police Commissioner Lahmi does his best to rival Louis de Funés and Michel Galabru, while demoted Cabrita tries her best to get out of the so-called 4th Brigade. This 4th Brigade has members with a past, meaning their resilience as a team extends further than they realize. The story seems to become more complicated with the extreme behavior of this team, yet..... All in all, an amusing film; the swimming pool scene, in particular, is a hilarious moment. Furthermore, "hats off" to Labarthe, who surpasses Inspector Clouseau in his role regarding disguise. The Tintin joke at the end is also top-notch. 2.9* "*poulets grillés* is incidentally known in French as a derogatory term for police officers"
