La Terra dei Figli plot
The end of civilization has arrived. The cause is unknown, much of humanity has been wiped out and the earth no longer bears fruit. A father and his son are among the few survivors. The son grows up as a wild person, as this is the only way to survive according to the father. When the father dies, the son decides to take a journey along a mysterious river in a hostile world. He tries to discover what was forbidden to him, but above all he is looking for someone who can read to him the words his father has left in a diary.
