Dreaming Hollywood plot

The story is set in a bizarre world of psychotic drug dealers, incompetent police officers and social rejections. Ray Balfi is a deranged ex-con who tries to change his life and sends his cartoon script to 100 production companies in LA. Faced with rejection after rejection, Ray learns that someone stole his script and made his movie, The Dog's Meow, without his permission. Ray's already confused life is now thrown into catastrophic chaos.
