The Tears of Things plot

Ana tries to process the painful memory of the night that ruined her marriage. Unable to speak, she writes it down. Her diary slowly becomes a letter to her husband about how a lack of communication drove them apart.

Quite melancholy short about a couple with marital problems. Especially for women who cannot process an incident earlier in the relationship. Talking about it doesn't work either, so she just puts it on paper. It weighs on the woman like a trauma and it undermines the trust and the overall relationship with her husband. Quite atmospherically sketched, with the woman's voice-over wavering and whispering. It is symbolic of her powerlessness and doubt.
