Code of Silence plot

London in the year 1960. The days of the miniskirt, The Beatles are on the radio and crime is at its highest level ever. Extortion, robbery and murder are rife in the capital. Everyone knows the gangsters responsible for this, but no one wants to reveal it. Detective Nipper Read is tasked with the impossible mission to bring the city back to justice. As he faces dirty cops, political backstabbing and terrified witnesses, he becomes increasingly obsessed with breaking the code of silence.
