Mistrz plot
It is 1940. The first transport of prisoners arrives at the newly established Auschwitz concentration camp. One of them is Tadeusz 'Teddy' Pietrzykowski. Before the war, he was the boxing champion of Warsaw. The camp officers force him into the ring to fight for his life and that of the other prisoners. But every time Teddy wins, he boosts hopes that the Nazis aren't invincible. The Auschwitz officers soon notice the growing resistance, which makes a confrontation with the camp authorities inevitable.
