"They're back and out for blood."
Melanie, a young woman, is held captive by a psychotic farming family. The family lives in the middle of a huge cornfield and targets human skin. However, Melanie and the other prisoners manage to escape and flee into the cornfield. With the maddened relatives on their heels, they must find a way out before it's too late.

Watched today on Blu-ray, in the previous part there was a group of young people who thought they were participating in a game where you could win 5000 dollars if you could escape from a labyrinth (see my response to part 1)
In this part, a large group of girls and 1 boy escape from a kind of prison in which they are locked up and escape into the corn maze, they are all hunted by the same people as in the 1st part, one by one the girls die, fortunately there are also some of those maniacs killed by the chicks.
They think a few will survive, but that too will soon end.
In my opinion, more murders could have been committed, especially murders of the maniacs (the lunatics) who chase the girls.
The murders in this were original and brutal with a lot of blood.
The film lasted no longer than 75 minutes, so all in all it was an entertaining horror film and fun to see, but I think they could have made more out of it.

The sequel mostly delivers the same old story and therefore offers considerably less surprise, only this time the victims are exclusively a group of women who are dismembered by the hunters in turn. Director Dante Yore still delivers some gory moments and benefits from a strong location, but the villains are even more tedious, and after a while, Fear PHarm 2 descends into dullness due to a lack of innovation. Essentially, the same formula is repeated, but much slower and with a worse finale. Fortunately, you can watch the whole thing again after 74 minutes.
