Indigenous anti-mining activist Kharis Redwater is killed in a mysterious hit-and-run. Shortly after, horrific, seemingly random murders take place in the snowfields of the isolated reserve of Kharis. Betty, a local policewoman, teams up with ex-serviceman Stacey to stop the terror. As they get closer to the truth, they are confronted with a world of ancient native myths that is now very much alive.
