What I liked was that the actors played very well. It was beautiful, it wasn't boring. What I noticed was that it was difficult to understand and I didn't feel like reading the subtitles.

If you like suspenseful and sad, then the movie is good for you.

Nice family film with the necessary clichés about altruism, which is further enhanced by the whole Christmas event. Apart from the sentimental ending - as if all problems have been solved with it - it is a nice watch. Nice because the story is not boring and the viewing audience - including the youth - is confronted in a light-hearted way that not everyone has it right.

The family therefore has every sympathy. The single mother works as a nurse, works impossible and double shifts and cannot do much more than she already does. It is not pedagogically responsible to leave your children home alone all the time, but what else can they do?

Luckily I saw the film in the original language. It also contributes to the overall experience of life in Iceland. Finally, a nice moral about perseverance, altruism and creativity.
