Maggie is about to take charge of a soap opera from Alice, who is soon to retire. The ratings are falling and the series may be cancelled. The return of a much-loved cast member could bring in the extra viewers needed, but there's a catch. Darin, the former cast member, also happens to be Maggie's ex-boyfriend. He left the show and never intended to come back, so it's an uphill battle for Maggie to convince him to return. Can they find a way to work together?
