Less than a year after 'Meeting the Beatles in India', another documentary about the Fab Four and India follows. 'The Beatles and India' begins when George Harrison discovers a sitar during the shooting of the movie 'Help!' and culminates with the same Harrison recording a record in Mumbai. Both the friendship with sitar virtuoso Ravi Shankar and the influence of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the creator of transcendental meditation, are discussed.

This documentary looks back at the times The Beatles were in India with eyewitnesses.
