Les Bodin's en Thaïlande plot
Maria Bodin, a cunning and authoritarian 87-year-old peasant woman, is faced with a new ordeal: her son Christian, who is 50, has lost the taste of life. On the advice of the psychiatrist, who recommends a change of scenery, Mother Bodin resigns herself to breaking open her piggy bank to pay for her son's vacation...to Thailand! The Bodins then embark on a bumpy journey across the country, using only their courage, their hearts and their common sense.
