Vlekkeloos plot

"Period. Poverty. Problem."

Fifteen-year-old Ruby lives with her mother and younger sister in a small apartment in the suburbs. Her mother works double shifts to support the family and Ruby feels responsible for her sister. When Ruby has her period and finds out there are no pads or tampons in the house, she doesn't want to bother her mother. She has enough problems already. In order not to be a burden to anyone around her, Ruby tries to solve it herself.
