De Vloek van Lughus plot
Centuries ago—when magic was not forgotten—a teasing spirit was active. A teaser, as the name suggests, is a spirit that likes to tease people. This particular spirit made wishes come true, but always in a way that people didn't intend, thus creating a lot of chaos. Eventually he was caught in an object and forgotten by everything and everyone. At least, until the teasing spirit escapes on the evening of Halloween 2021 and settles itself in the image of Flipje. From that moment on, all wishes come true that are expressed on the Market Square. Even if they are completely unaware... It's Halloween!

Yesterday I accidentally came across an article about a horror film that was shot in my hometown of Tiel. I got excited for a moment. Has anyone made a cool slasher with Flipje as the ax wielding killer???
No, it turned out to be a film for children unfortunately. Still, I just turned it on because of the short playing time. Well.... This might be fun for the little ones. As a filmmaker, I think you are great if you can make a film made for youth also somewhat interesting for adults (even if only through subtle comments/jokes that adults pick up and children do not. Shrek did this phenomenally). De Bont cannot do that. In addition, it is also disappointing that when you make a Halloween film, your film has so little Halloween theme on your sets. It's not that difficult or expensive. Just drop by the So Low and get dressed in your sets.
Acting by the youth, especially Puck Nieuwpoort, is acceptable.
