The Trick plot
Three weeks before the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, climate skeptics are distributing portions of hacked emails from Phil Jones, the head of Climate Research, whose findings should guide international cooperation. The publications suggest that Jones has withheld information and that neither his scientific research nor himself can be trusted. Phil is on the brink of a physical and mental breakdown from the media attention and threats, but with the help of two lawyers and the support of his wife Ruth, he still prepares to fight for his reputation when he faces a commission of inquiry. .
