This documentary is about the dashing 16th-century Tsar Ivan IV. With his vision and ruthlessness, he expanded the size, power and culture of Russia. Orphaned as a child and mistreated by higher-ranking Boyars, Tsar Ivan was a fickle ruler who committed his first murder at age 13 and was feared for his indiscriminate acts of violence.
